2:09Now PlayingRep. Ted Deutch, D-Fla., asked Robert Mueller during his testimony before the House Judiciary Committee about President Donald Trump’s reasoning behind his attempts to remove Mueller from his special counsel appointment. “Why did the president of the United States want you fired?” Deutch asked. Mueller said he could not answer the question. Deutch then quoted Mueller’s report that said Trump’s attempts to remove Mueller were related to the special counsel’s investigation into the president’s potential efforts to obstruct justice.
