2:59Now PlayingRep. Matt Gaetz, R-Fla., criticized former special counsel Robert Mueller during a House Judiciary Committee hearing for not addressing concerns about Christopher Steele, the former British intelligence officer who helped compile a dossier with information disparaging then-candidate Donald Trump. Gaetz suggested that the so-called Steele dossier could have been part of Russia’s disinformation campaign. “You weren’t interested if Russians were interfering through Christopher Steele,” Gaetz said to Mueller. Mueller, who led an investigation into Russian interference in the 2016 election and possible ties to Trump’s campaign, said the Steele dossier was not under his purview and others were investigating some of the issues Gaetz raised.
