Guy Reschenthaler, R-Pa., accused former special counsel Robert Mueller, while investigating President Donald Trump, of “unfairly airing the target’s dirty laundry without recommending charges.” Reschenthaler questioned why Mueller did not decide to prosecute the president after doing the report. “You compiled almost 450 pages of the very worst information you gathered against the target of your investigation, who happens to be the president of the United States, and you did this knowing that you were not going to recommend charges and the report would be made public,” Reschenthaler said. Mueller responded, “Not true.” Reschenthaler said that “the drafting and the publication of” the report “flies in the face of American justice.”
