Eric Swalwell, D-Calif., cited a letter from former federal prosecutors who said they believed President Donald Trump’s actions constitute obstruction of justice. When Swalwell asked Mueller whether he would like to sign the letter, Mueller said the prosecutors had “a different case.” Mueller, who led an investigation into Russian interference in the 2016 election and possible ties to President Donald Trump’s campaign, agreed to appear before Congress, but told lawmakers he would not go beyond what was already documented in his final report.
