2:02Now PlayingGOP counsel Stephen Castor cited instances where Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky said he did not feel pressure from President Donald Trump. Castor's comments came during his presentation before the House Judiciary Committee on Dec. 9. “Because President Zelensky would be the target of any alleged quid pro quo scheme, his statements denying any pressure carry significant weight,” Castor said during a hearing, which was part of the impeachment probe into Trump and featured both Republican and Democratic lawyers. The impeachment case has revolved around a July 25 phone call in which Trump asked the president of Ukraine to investigate former vice president and 2020 presidential candidate Joe Biden and his son, Hunter.
