Harris said some within the U.S. are working to suppress the vote because “when we vote, things change.” She encouraged Americans to seek assistance with voting in the 2020 election early. The coronavirus pandemic upended both parties’ traditional conventions. Instead of in-person events, the DNC program each night features a number of speakers and musical performances virtually across the country.
