Gregg Alexander, the former band's lead singer, dedicated the performance "in memory and in honor" of Biden's late son and veteran Beau Biden and "with the prayer of Joe being able to bring our country together again." Their virtual performance was one of many during Wednesday's virtual "Parade Across America.”
