1:21Now PlayingOngoing clinical trials are evaluating the safety and efficacy of existing COVID-19 vaccines in younger children. Right now, you have to be at least 18 years old to get Moderna or Johnson & Johnson's vaccine, and at least 16 years old to get Pfizer's. Dr. Kimberly Manning of Grady Memorial Hospital said more data on children should be "coming soon." She added that vaccinating younger people will be "an important piece of mitigating this virus."
