The administration’s pandemic relief package, signed in March, moved to lower health insurance premiums for millions, a provision Biden said he wants to make permanent.
“Let’s lower deductibles for working families on the Affordable Care Act, and let’s lower prescription drug costs. We all know how outrageously expensive they are,” Biden said.
The president delivered his address live at the U.S. Capitol, but the crowd was socially distanced and significantly scaled back due to COVID-19 protocols.
