Every time there's a mass shooting at a U.S. school, teachers across the country are reminded gun violence is an everyday possibility in their classrooms. Following the shooting at an elementary school in Uvalde, Texas, the PBS NewsHour spoke with six teachers from across the United States, some of whom are school shooting survivors, about the emotional toll school shootings are having on educators, how they feel about shooting drills and other measures aimed at addressing active shooters and what they want the country to know.
