as posted by the channelGeorgia voters will vote Tuesday on the final Senate contest in the country, in the race between Democratic Sen. Raphael Warnock and Republican Herschel Walker. The race comes after both candidates came short of the majority win required to declare victory in Georgia contests. The outcome of Tuesday's runoff election will determine whether Democrats have an outright 51-49 Senate majority or control a 50-50 chamber based on Vice President Kamala Harris’ tiebreaking vote. The PBS NewsHour's Nicole Ellis will speak with NewsHour White House Correspondent Laura Barrón-López at 12 p.m. EST on Wednesday, Dec. 7 to discuss the results.
