YouTube Description
as posted by the channelRep. Adam Schiff, D-Calif., spoke on Dec. 19 as the House committee investigating the Jan. 6 attack presented its final findings to the public.
Schiff presented the committee’s findings on the “state pressure campaign” enacted by former President Donald Trump and his allies in an attempt to convince state officials to manipulate the results of the 2020 presidential election in his favor, while baselessly accusing election workers of fraud.
Schifff asserted that Trump also “oversaw an effort to obtain and transmit false Electoral College ballots to Congress and the National Archives” at the same time that real electors were meeting to cast their votes for President Joe Biden. He said that the committee had evidence that the “intentionally false documents” were given to multiple officials within the federal government, with the intent to interfere with the joint session of Congress to count presidential electoral votes on Jan. 6.
The Jan. 6 committee will release its full report later this week as the panel wraps up its work.
