YouTube Description
as posted by the channelActor Mark Hamill of "Star Wars" fame made a surprise visit Friday to the White House news briefing, where he spoke for several minutes to the press corps after meeting with President Joe Biden.
Hamill, who said he had also been invited to the White House during the tenures of former presidents Jimmy Carter and Barack Obama, touted Biden's accomplishments while in office, calling him "the most legislatively successful president in my lifetime."
But he got the biggest rouse from a "Star Wars" reference.
"I called him Mr. President and he said, 'You can call me Joe,' and I said, can I call you Joe-Bi-Wan-Kenobi?," Hamill recalled, to the amusement of the White House press corps. "He liked that."
