0:59Now PlayingFlorida Rep. Maxwell Alejandro Frost spoke Thursday on the final night of the Democratic National Convention in Chicago, warning about the effects of climate change, including those he's seen in his home state.
"I'm here to tell you that the climate crisis isn't some far-off threat, it is here," said Frost, the first member of Generation Z to win a seat in Congress.
“Fighting the climate crisis is patriotic,” he continued. “And unlike Donald Trump, our patriotism is more than some damn slogan on a hat. It's about actually giving a damn about the people who live in this country.”
