32:21Now PlayingA pipeline in a Houston suburb has exploded and is on fire, prompting evacuations.
Some homes nearby caught fire from the explosion that occurred Monday morning and shook homes in the Deer Park and La Porte neighborhoods.
“All of a sudden we hear this loud bang and then I see something bright, like orange, coming from our back door that’s outside,” Geselle Melina Guerra, a La Porte resident, told the Associated Press.
Those in nearby schools were advised to shelter in place as law enforcement blocked off a wide area. The cause of the fire is not yet known.
