"We have to stop pointing fingers and start locking arms," she said. "It is time to turn the page on the drama and the conflict, the fear and division. It is time for a new generation of leadership in America."
With only a week before Election Day, Harris aimed to draw a stark contrast with Trump by speaking at the Ellipse in Washington, D.C., where former President Donald Trump spoke on January 6, 2020, when he urged his crowd to “fight like hell” and sparked the insurrection at the U.S. Capitol building.
"If elected, Donald Trump would walk into that office with an enemy's list," Harris said. "When elected, I will walk in with a to-do list."
