"I don't think I can stress enough that 72 percent of Americans have lost faith in the Department of Justice," the attorney general nominee said, an idea she cited often during her hours of questioning by senators.
Bondi is a former Florida attorney general and has been a longtime ally of President-elect Donald Trump. This is the first of two hearings the committee has scheduled for the nominee.
