as posted by the channelSen. Lindsey Graham, R-S.C., questioned U.S. attorney general nominee Pam Bondi in a confirmation hearing Wednesday held by the Senate Judiciary Committee.
Graham’s line of questioning focused on protecting children from social media abuse, saying members on the committee have been trying to figure out how to empower people who’ve been hurt.
“There are so many issues online that that's one of the things we have to find things that can bring us together now, and this has to be one of them: protecting our children,” she said.
Graham also mentioned outgoing FBI Director Christopher Wray’s past comments about national security threats, calling on Bondi to make this an urgent issue once President-elect Donald Trump is inaugurated.
Bondi is a former Florida attorney general and has been a longtime ally of President-elect Donald Trump. This is the first of two hearings the committee has scheduled for the nominee.
