as posted by the channelAcross the country, people are taking to town hall meetings to voice their objections to the current administration directly to their elected officials.
A video circulating online showed a woman being forcibly removed from a Republican town hall in Kootenai County, Idaho, after interrupting the speaker and was dragged out of the event by unidentified men at the time. The Kootenai County Republican Central Committee later stated that the men were "licensed and bonded professional security."
Another viral video captured former NFL punter Chris Kluwe speaking at a Huntington Beach City Council meeting where he spoke out against the choice of words included in the Central Library's 50th anniversary plaque — "Magical Alluring Galvanizing Adventurous" — similar to the acronym of Trump's "MAGA" motto.
"MAGA stands for trying to erase trans people from existence. MAGA stands for resegregation and racism. MAGA stands for censorship and book bans. MAGA stands for firing air traffic controllers while planes are crashing," said Kluwe who was placed under arrest shortly after his speech after he walked up to the councilmembers to engage in "time-honored American tradition of peaceful civil disobedience."
And in Wyoming, constituent Britt Boril addressed Chairman Tim French as "Madam Chairman" during a testimony to protest a bill aimed to crackdown on gender expression and identity in the state.
