From the president's favorite ice cream to whether he likes hugs, Leavitt faced a series of questions from children of journalists and Trump officials as part of the White House's Take Your Daughters and Sons to Work Day. Leavitt was also asked what superpower the president would want.
"It would be to just snap his fingers and solve all of our country's problems just like that, because he likes to get things done very quickly but sometimes it takes a little bit longer," Leavitt said. "Today, he had to go to Capitol Hill to convince people to vote for his one big, beautiful bill."
Trump was asked by a reporter at the Capitol on Tuesday if he was losing his patience with regard to the budget reconciliation process and divisions among House Republicans over some key issues. "I'm not losing patience, we're ahead of schedule," Trump said.
