0:57Now PlayingHeavy rain and wind blasted parts of the U.S. Northeast Monday, bringing flash flooding across New York, New Jersey and Pennsylvania.
In New York City, floodwater gushed into subway stations and some service was temporarily suspended. The floods also shut down the Bronx River Parkway.
Parts of New Jersey recorded at least six inches of rain. In Plainfield, two people were killed when their vehicle was swept away in floodwaters.
Most flash flood watches and warnings expired by Tuesday as the storm moved past, but flooding remained in some areas.
