1:49Now PlayingPresident Donald Trump visited the Federal Reserve on Thursday amid concerns from him and his allies about the cost of building renovations. During his visit, Trump and Federal Reserve Chair Jerome Powell had a disagreement over the exact cost.
Trump has continuously disparaged Powell, called for his resignation, and last week called him “a knucklehead” because the Fed had not cut interest rates. Powell was appointed by Trump during his first term and his tenure was extended under the Biden administration.
