1:41Now PlayingPresident Donald Trump claimed Monday that Washington, D.C.'s homicide rate is higher than the "worst places on Earth" as he announced his plans to take over the city's police department.
During the news conference, Trump said D.C. has 41 homicides per 100,000 people. "No.1 that we can find anywhere in the world," he said. “Other cities are pretty bad, but they’re not as bad as that.”
