During a roundtable with top officials and a Q&A with reporters that lasted more than three hours, Trump touched on his standoff with Federal Reserve Governor Lisa Cook, whom he's threatened to remove, and his federal takeover of Washington, D.C., including his desire to reinstate the death penalty in murder cases in the nation's capital. Weighing in on the biggest celebrity headline of the day, he said he wished Taylor Swift and Travis Kelce "a lot of luck" on their engagement, which was announced as the meeting occurred. “I think he’s a great player, I think he’s a great guy and I think that she’s a terrific person," he said.
