YouTube Description

as posted by the channel

President Donald Trump signed an executive order Thursday that would reclassify marijuana as a less dangerous drug.

The order moves the drug from schedule I (alongside heroin and LSD) to schedule III, the category for Tylenol and Ketamine.

It marks a major shift in federal drug policy, opening new avenues for medical research while giving cannabis businesses significant tax relief.

The reclassification by the Drug Enforcement Administration (DEA) will not affect criminal penalties or change federal law around possession of marijuana.
