On Friday, the much-anticipated legal deadline for release of files on the convicted sex offender’s case, the DOJ published only a portion of the materials mandated by Congress for release.
Notably missing were FBI interviews with survivors and justice department memos on decisions around criminal charges.
The Justice Department says it needs more time to review and protect the identity of victims, but critics claim the DOJ may be protecting the reputation of certain politicians through the many redactions.
