“My biggest concern are the drone threats,” McCaul said, citing drone attacks in Iran, Ukraine and Russia. “That kind of attack here in the United States.”
Mullin said drones are also his biggest concern.
“We have spent a tremendous amount of ability and money to be able to be very offensive with drones,” Mullin said. “But on the counter-drone measures, everybody's a little behind.”
Mullin said all 11 facilities where World Cup games will be held in the U.S. have counter-drone equipment.
“We're well prepared for it,” Mullin said, citing recent events where drones have entered no-fly zones and DHS has brought them down.
