The $850 million project reflects the life and legacy of the nation's 44th commander in chief and first Black president. It includes a replica of the Oval Office from his time in office, a collection of former first lady Michelle Obama's gowns, and a full-size basketball court, reflecting one of Mr. Obama's favorite pastimes.
