YouTube Description
as posted by the channelProtests in Kenya over a proposed Ebola quarantine center for Americans led to violent scenes on Tuesday.
Police fired warning shots and tear gas in a bid to disperse the crowd near the site of the planned facility. Reuters is reporting that one protester was shot and killed, and at least 10 others were detained.
U.S. officials announced plans for the site in May, though it has been held up by Kenya's courts.
The violence comes as health officials say at least 115 people are now confirmed to have died from Ebola in the Democratic Republic of the Congo, which has been hardest hit by the outbreak.
