YouTube Description
as posted by the channelActing Attorney General Todd Blanche said Wednesday that the information available to the FBI and Justice Department does not contain evidence that the late convicted sex offender Jeffrey Epstein trafficked women to other men, but "that does not mean it didn't happen, and I want to be clear about that."
“It just means that we have evidence that the FBI gathered and that the Department of Justice gathered, and that's the body of work that we have to work with," Blanche said Wednesday during his confirmation hearing before the Senate Judiciary Committee.
His answer came in response to a question from Sen. John Kennedy, R-La., about who else Epstein had trafficked young women to over more than a decade of abuse.
Blanche said career prosecutors in the Justice Department, New York and Florida did not identify any other men.
“If there's anybody out there, victim or otherwise, that has information. I beg them to come forward,” he added.
Blanche, President Donald Trump’s former defense attorney, stepped into the role of acting attorney general after Pam Bondi was fired in early April.
Senators on Wednesday questioned Blanche on his relationship to the president, as well as his role in controversial decisions at the Justice Department, including high-profile indictments of Trump’s perceived foes and the government’s handling of the Epstein files.
