This omnibus bill combines 62 pieces of legislation that have been stalled in Congress. Supporters hope that by combining the bills, they’ll have a better chance at becoming law. But the bill also includes a controversial plan to pay for expanded benefits, and veterans’ groups are divided over the best path forward.
PBS News' Cecilia Lallmann spoke with two veteran service organizations, one on each side of support, to discuss what they want you to know about section 108.
