The update came days after President Donald Trump ordered a new name for the body of water as part of his ongoing trade war with Canada.
Google Maps made a similar change this past weekend. So far, MapQuest has said it’s not changing the name.
Apple’s decision Wednesday won’t necessarily affect users outside the U.S.
