Power has long been a staunch advocate for U.S. intervention on moral grounds. In 2008, she appeared on Democracy Now! to debate journalist Jeremy Scahill about Kosovo, Iraq sanctions and Bill Clinton's foreign policy record. Power wrote extensively about Bosnia and Kosovo in her book, "A Problem From HellAmerica and the Age of Genocide," which won a 2003 Pulitzer Prize. Scahill covered the NATO bombings of Kosovo and Yugoslavia for Democracy Now! in 1999. Scahill is the author of the new book "Dirty WarsThe World is a Battlefield." The fim of the same names opens in theaters on June 7.
