According to the Republican Party’s own data, only 18 of the nearly 2,500 delegates are AfricanAmerican. That’s less than 1 percent. As recently as 2004, 7 percent of Republican delegates were black. On Wednesday night, Democracy Now!’s Carla Wills tracked down some of the 18 AfricanAmerican delegates.
