She is now in her third year studying chemical engineering at Rutgers University, where she has been an outspoken advocate for undocumented students. This morning, her future in this country is in limbo, as she’s reporting to an ICE checkin, where she could face possible deportation. We spoke to Carimer yesterday as she prepared for today’s checkin.
