She attributes her hyperfocus and “outside-the-box thinking” to being on the spectrum, viewing her diagnosis as an advantage for addressing the current climate crisis. On today’s show, Greta explains why Asperger’s is her “superpower” and how it contributes to her climate activism. “It helped me see things in a way that others might not see and it just helps me be different,” says Greta. “…I think that is something to really be proud of, that you are different.”
