But WHO adviser Lawrence Gostin says the organization has actually done well in the pandemic, despite a miniscule budget and political interference. "Yes, they can be slow, they can be bureaucratic," he says. "But my God, what they've done for the world." Gostin is a professor at Georgetown University, where he is the O’Neill chair in Global Health Law.
