YouTube Description
as posted by the channelAs the Democratic National Convention kicks off in Milwaukee, California Congressmember Ro Khanna says that while he supports the Joe Biden and Kamala Harris ticket, he "cannot vote for this platform that does not have universal health care as a right." The DNC platform advocates strengthening the Affordable Care Act but makes no express commitment to Medicare for All. "We've seen millions of people lose their jobs. They should not lose their healthcare. This, to me, is about basic dignity," he says. "If we can't come around and say we are for Medicare for All at a time of a pandemic, I don't know when we will."
