The legally binding pact could help reverse marine biodiversity loss by establishing marine protected areas covering nearly a third of the world's seas by 2030. We hear more from one of the treaty's scientist-negotiators, Minna Epps, a marine biologist and director of the Ocean Team at the International Union for the Conservation of Nature.
