Ryan Grim, Washington bureau chief for The Intercept, says a fundamental problem with Republican suspicions of Hunter Biden’s most recent plea deal is that the judge presiding over the case and the federal prosecutor negotiating with the president’s son were appointed by Trump.
“They’re very much trying to move beyond Hunter Biden, which they understand they’ve beaten that issue to death, and trying to move to Joe Biden,” says Ryan Grim, Washington bureau chief for The Intercept.
