YouTube Description
as posted by the channelAfter failing to pull successive U.S. presidents into war against Iran, Benjamin Netanyahu “saw his opportunity” with Donald Trump, says Daniel Levy, president of the U.S./Middle East Project and a former Israeli peace negotiator. Netanyahu has for decades argued that Iran is on the brink of becoming a nuclear power, but Israel is the only nuclear-armed state in the region, Levy notes.
Levy says building a "Pax Greater Israel" is the larger project. “This is about how far Israel can extend its dominion, how much of a hard-power, dominant hegemon it can be in the region, seizing parts of Syria or of Lebanon, trying to finish an eradicationist approach to the Palestinians.”
