The essential oils of aegle, ageratum, citronella, eucalyptus, geranium, lemongrass, orange, palmarosa, patchouli and peppermint, were tested for antibacterial activity against 22 bacteria and shown in a Petri Dish to be effective in various ways. I don't have a study that qualifies how much to add to your bath or creams to decrease impetigo recurrence. The best non-chemical defense is prevention of chronic eczema. See previous video.
