We will be continuing the direct examination of MSP Trooper Yuriy Bukhenik and taking bets on whether Lally will be able to waste enough time to prevent the defense from getting to start cross-examination before the end of the day, because this cross is going to be fiery. So far, Trooper Bukhenik has testified to recovering John's clothing from the hospital (except his hat is still missing and where are his socks?) and Karen's car from her parents' house in Dighton (where, after claiming to see her damaged taillight immediately upon approaching the house, he took no steps to document its condition), interviewing Karen (which he did not record), and claiming to see Karen drinking copious amounts of alcohol that the rest of us are not seeing on the surveillance video from CF McCarthy's or the receipts that have been described to us.
