4:37:44Now PlayingWe're now well into the meta levels of litigating the degree of access that the public will be afforded in the pretrial litigation of State v. Tyler Robinson. Today, we are hearing motions on whether the defense's request to ban cameras from the courtroom and its reply brief on the same issue should be sealed from public view. This game they're playing with the public's First Amendment right to see what happens in criminal cases is getting very old, and I have to wonder if Judge Graf's patience is finally going to wear thin as the defense's repeated, poorly-justified requests to keep the case concealed from view continue to take up more and more of the court's time and the parties' efforts. Perhaps we'll finally see some ground rules established for requests to file motions under seal? Join us to watch and find out!
