as posted by the channelMTV Decoded, with the help of their host Franchesca Ramsey also known as Youtuber "Chescaleigh" released yet another racially charged video, this time entitled "4 Black Lives Matter Myths Debunked." In this video, Franchesca brings up 4 points that are commonly (and logically) said response to the hateful and divisive Black Lives Matter rhetoric, in an attempt to defend Black Lives Matter (or as I call them.. black LIES matter.)
She began her talk by addressing the largest elephant ever in any room of the history of man. If black lives matter so much, then why not focus on black on black crime? She said this statement in a flippant way, almost as if she was offended that anyone would ask. But the reality is... it's a logical question. Black Lives Matter only seems to care when blacks are killed by the police, not the chief method of death which is at the hands of other black people.
Then, of course, she brings up the fact that most crime is intra racial and done in close proximity. That's a mostly true statement but it is a misleading statement. White on white crime, as far as the intra racial rate, is lower than but not far from the black on black rate. However, the actual rate of violent acts committed when measuring black on black vs white on white is not even close. Blacks account for 50% of all murder in the United States, on both sides of the gun as the victim and the perpetrator, despite being only 13% of the population. Whites, Asians, and Hispanics combined do not account for as much crime on either side of the gun as blacks.
Much of Franchesca's talk was to legitimize black LIES matter as a respected and important organization, although they obviously are not. In this video, I break down each of her points, point by point, then give a few examples of some counter-numbers in graphs.
