Has Aleppo Fallen? Obama Says Yes And Syrian President Assad, China, And Russia To Blame (REACTION)

The city of Aleppo, Syria has been under constant attack from ISIS, ISIS-inspired and backed/supported forces who are against the Government of Syria, led by President Bashar Al Assad. As of Sunday, December 18th 2016, much of the mainstream media in the United States is claiming that Aleppo has now fallen. However, some “news sources” online, maybe even some mainstream media, are also claiming that Assad has taken Aleppo. If Aleppo is under control of the Government of Syria, led by President Bashar al Assad, then how can Aleppo have fallen? It doesn’t make sense. Or maybe it does make sense when the language of Western media is understood in the proper context.

When media sources say “fallen” in relation to Aleppo, they most likely mean that Aleppo has fallen *back* into the control of the Syrian “regime” - which is really just the Syrian Government. The inflammatory language is used because of Western bias against sovereign middle eastern nations that do not kowtow to the will of some Western powers. Americans and Western Europeans don’t have to like Assad or the country of Syria, but that is no excuse to infringe upon their democratic election process by undermining their Government, nor does it give our military an excuse to wage a proxy war on Syrian land at the expense of common civilians.

There is also a lot of vitriol towards Russia and Iraq for assisting Bashar al Assad and the Syrian Government. Which, of course, is misplaced. The current conflict in Syria is due to ISIS. The Syrian government has invited Russia, Iraq, *and* China to assist in fighting ISIS because the Syrian army is not strong enough. This is fine. Sovereign countries have the right to assist each other in a voluntary exchange. The United States has not been invited and seems more interested in managing combatant groups in the region that may or may not be on the same accord with the Syrian Government. Some may even be on the side of ISIS.

Common sense says, leave the country unless you are invited, at which point a decision can be made whether or not to accept. One side will win or lose this particular fight for Aleppo and Syria as a whole. It’s not up to a foreign, uninvited country to fight another country’s war without permission of said country. Aleppo has not fallen. It has been liberated from foreign enemy combatants. Hopefully the West can recognize that, rather than still wanting to engage in a conflict in that region in a way that they desire.
