68 Year Old White Woman Slammed And Dragged Into Pool By Black Teen At Pool Party (REACTION)

A 68 year old woman (with dogs in-tow) decided to walk up to an all-black pool party in her North Lauderdale, Florida neighborhood to tell them to keep the music down. There were around 200 or so young black men and women at the party complete with live DJ. Apparently, during the party the young men and been throwing the young women into the pool. Almost immediately after the elderly lady came to the party, someone began recording her and chants of “throw her in!” came from the background. One of the males at the party got close to the lady but did not touch her. One genius by the name of Leon Balfour, Jr. decided to pick her up and attempt to throw her into the pool. His first attempt failed and he fell on the wet surface, causing her to fall as well and collide hard with the ground. He then proceeds to drag her, and her two dogs, which she has on a leash, into the pool. The dogs appear to not go into the pool but the woman does. At the end of it, she was OK after being taken to the ER for treatment.

The young man in question has turned himself in and is currently under home confinement until his next court date. He’s able to leave for school and basketball practice. Of course, the video has sparked outrage from all over the world, especially in the online space as it has gone viral. Many are angry at the young man, but some are trying to blame the old woman. Some say that she was trespassing on private property. Some say she should have minded her business. Others say she should have called the police. The appropriate thing to do would have been to call the police, even though that could have ended badly for the actual people at the party, but the outcome of a situation for unruly people doesn’t really matter.

Anyone trying to blame the woman for this is totally out of line. First of all, the young man should not have touched her, period. Either abide by her wishes, ignore her, or call the police on her if you want her to leave. Second, she was not trespassing because she was the head of the HOA (Homeowners Association) and she lived in that neighborhood. Third, if anything is to be said about trespassing, it is most likely 95% of the 200+ people that were at the party. The community itself is not that large, so how is it possible that 200 young black people can congregate at a small community pool, with a live DJ, and everyone be a resident there? Lastly, many are saying he does not deserve punishment for this. His father is currently in jail and he will most likely join him if this type of antisocial behavior is not nipped in the bud right now.
