14:07Now PlayingRapper XXXTentacion was shot and killed in South Florida at the age of 20 due to currently unknown circumstances. The suspects are black males. Many so-called pro-black or black-centric websites have come out and universally panned him due to his criminal past. Which is totally unusual for these social justice warrior, hands up don’t shoot, black lives matter types of individuals.
If a black person’s criminal background is brought up after they are killed when a story reaches the media, the same people criticizing XXXTentacion for his past would be against it.
In this case, however, it appears the crimes the rapper was accused and/or convicted of outweigh his black male victimhood status.
One of the crimes was allegedly beating up his girlfriend who may have been pregnant at the time. With the whole #metoo movement going on, he gets victim points taken away for that action. Another crime he is accused of is a violent assault on a gay person while he was in a juvenile jail. Take away a few more victim points due to violence against an LGBT person. Throw in the toxic culture online of “cancelling” heterosexual men for simply existing, you have a person who has no victimhood cards remaining.
If XXX was accused and or convicted of the same crimes but had been killed by a white person or a police officer, the entire narrative changes. All his victim points get immediately restored. No more hate-filled articles are published online.
This case simply outlines the hypocrisy that happens not only in the black community but also with liberalism in general. Black Lives Matter only in certain situations.
