as posted by the channelA College of Southern Nevada professor of sociology Mark Bird faces felony gun charges for shooting himself in a campus bathroom in protest of President Donald Trump, according to his arrest report. He apparently shot himself in the arm in a bathroom at the college with a .22 caliber pistol. Shortly thereafter, he walked out of the bathroom on his own power and made a statement “against Trump” according to eyewitnesses who were on location.
There was a note left on the bathroom window reading “for the janitors” with $100 attached to it. Given the chance to clear up what happened in the bathroom at the college during a jailhouse interview, he didn’t say much of anything. He appears to be at least 70 years old and has been a professor at the college for at least 25 years now.
