9:04Now PlayingOutgoing House Judiciary Committee Chairman Bob Goodlatte said Sunday it was "truly stunning" to hear former FBI Director James Comey claim he doesn't know or "can't recall" answers to nearly 250 questions about the Trump-Russia probe and the Clinton email investigation.
"The biggest takeaway is that former FBI Director James Comey, with regard to the two most important investigations... into the Clinton email matter and into the Russia collusion matter, said, as you noted, I don’t recall, I don’t remember or I don’t know, 245 times," Goodlatte, a Republican from Roanoke, Va., said.
However, Goodlatte said he does not want his shock to be registered as an assertion that Comey lied during his six-hour, closed-door testimony.
